How to Use Demo Projects with ARC?

ACC and ARC (Akinon Rapid Commerce) offers various ready-to-use application package options to provide an easy and fast Akinon experience with just one click. This allows Akinon users to create demo projects with the provided application packages and experience Akinon digital commerce solutions end-to-end through ready-to-use applications with sample data.

To create a demo project, users assigned the role must have App Bundle authorization. When a new account is created in ACC, the account owner is automatically assigned the Manager role, which includes App Bundle authorization. Users with this authorization can see the action to create a demo project on the Projects page.

1

Clicking the + Create Demo button redirects users to the demo project setup detail page. On this page, users need to specify the demo project name and slug, select one of the available application packages. After filling in the necessary fields, clicking the Start Demo button initiates automatic project and application deployments with the specified details on the page.

2

The created demo project is listed on the Projects page and is distinguished from other projects by a different cardbox color.

3

After creating the demo project, the deployment of ready-to-use applications is automatically performed in sequence based on application dependencies. By clicking on the relevant demo project cardbox in the project page, users are directed to the project detail page where they can track the application setup status in the demo project.

Application deployments are carried out with stable versions if the stable version is marked and with the latest versions successfully built if not marked. After the Omnitron deployment is completed, user login information is sent to the ACC user who created the demo project via email.

4

It is not possible to add a new service/application to the project until the deployment of all applications in the selected application package is successfully completed. After successful deployments, a new service can be added to the project by clicking the + New Service button. Services added later to the project are also deployed and ready for use with sample data.

The limit set for the number of applications in demo projects will be automatically assigned as the number of applications in the application package by default. An increase in the limit should be requested for services and applications to be added later to demo projects.

5

In the project detail page, similar to other projects, by clicking on the log icon, logs for demo projects can be viewed from the log detail page, and by clicking on the application names, the application detail page can be accessed.
