# Stock Locations

This tutorial provides guidance on adding and editing stock locations in Akinon OMS. Stock locations are essential for managing your inventory effectively.

## <mark style="color:red;">Step 1: Accessing the Stock Locations Page​</mark> <a href="#step-1-accessing-the-stock-locations-page" id="step-1-accessing-the-stock-locations-page"></a>

* To Access the Stock Locations page by selecting **Akinon OMS** from the menu.
* Then, click on **Locations**.<br>

## <mark style="color:red;">Step 2: Adding a New Stock Location</mark>​ <a href="#step-2-adding-a-new-stock-location" id="step-2-adding-a-new-stock-location"></a>

* On the Locations page, you will see existing location records.
* To add a new stock location, click the **Add New Stock Location** button.

## <mark style="color:red;">Step 3: Editing an Existing Stock Location​</mark> <a href="#step-3-editing-an-existing-stock-location" id="step-3-editing-an-existing-stock-location"></a>

* To edit an existing location, simply select the location you want to edit from the Locations list.<br>

## <mark style="color:red;">Step 4: Making a Stock Location Active/Inactive​</mark> <a href="#step-4-making-a-stock-location-activeinactive" id="step-4-making-a-stock-location-activeinactive"></a>

* Set a stock location as active or inactive while creating or editing it.
* No package or transfer orders are created for inactive locations.
* Choose one of the activation options, fill in the form, and save the changes.<br>

## <mark style="color:red;">Step 5: Making a Stock Location Available for Fast Delivery​</mark> <a href="#step-5-making-a-stock-location-available-for-fast-delivery" id="step-5-making-a-stock-location-available-for-fast-delivery"></a>

* Navigate to the "Location Detail" page.
* To enable fast delivery for a location, choose the **Fast Delivery Availability** option.
* Fill in the required information and save the changes.
* For express delivery, set the "Availability for Express Delivery" property to **Yes**.<br>

* After making the location available for express delivery, you can create the corresponding scenario.
* When creating the scenario, make sure to select the relevant location that is available for express delivery.

* On the "Location Detail" page, choose the **Packaging Center** option to facilitate packaging orders.
* Fill in the required information and save the changes.<br>

* On the "Location Detail" page, choose the **Transfer Location** option to facilitate transferring orders.
* Fill in the required information and save the changes.<br>

* On the "Location Detail" page, enter the priority for the location.
* Fill in the form with the priority information and save it.<br>

* On the "Location Detail" page, enter the ERP code for the location.
* Fill in the form with the ERP code information and save it.<br>
