The Marketplace Dashboard Flow Trigger feature is a tool used to trigger marketplace flows through Omnitron. This screen allows specific flows to be triggered manually.

Benefits of Flow Trigger

Troubleshooting: The Flow Trigger screen is effective in identifying and resolving errors that may occur during integration processes. Users can perform single or multiple requests to ensure their integrations are working correctly and quickly resolve any potential issues.

Performance Optimization: The Flow Trigger screen allows users to evaluate integration performance by making change date requests and testing data retrieval and updates. This helps users assess the performance of their integrations and optimize the process when necessary.

Data Accuracy and Reliability: CSV requests allow users to update multiple products simultaneously and guarantee data integrity and accuracy. The Flow Trigger screen enables users to closely monitor bulk update processes and ensure data accuracy.

Efficiency: The Flow Trigger screen is invaluable for advancing product or order-based testing processes. Users can manually perform test operations, verify functionality, and streamline the testing process.

Using the Flow Trigger Screen

Step 1: Selecting the Trigger Screen

  • Log in to Omnitron, select the marketplace application from the left menu, and click on "Trigger" to access the flow trigger screen.

Step 2: Trigger Screen View

  • Once you select "Trigger," the screen will appear as shown below. On this screen, you will see:

    • Flow Name: The flow that will be triggered.

    • Trigger: The action for triggering the flow.

    • Template File: Displays the file template to be triggered.

Step 3: Single Trigger Process

  • This method is used for triggering a specific flow with parameters.

    • Select the Flow: Locate the flow you want to trigger from the list.

    • Click on the 'Run' Button: Next to the flow name, click the Run button. This will open a popup.

  • Fill in the Form: Complete the required fields in the form.

  • Click 'Run': After filling in the necessary fields, click the Run button to initiate the flow.

  • Check the Logs: After triggering the flow, the request results can be monitored via the log screen.

Step 4: CSV Trigger Process

  • This method is used to trigger a flow using a CSV file.

    • Download the CSV Template: From the "Template File" section next to the flow name, click to download the CSV template.

    • Edit the CSV File: Open the downloaded CSV template and make necessary modifications to define the records that need to be triggered.

The CSV file must contain a maximum of 100 records.

  • Upload the CSV File: After editing the CSV, click the "Upload CSV" button to select and upload the prepared file.

  • Confirm Success: Once the CSV file is uploaded, a success message will appear on the screen.

  • Check the Logs: After triggering the flow, you can monitor the request results through the log screen.

Additional Notes

  • The encoding of the CSV file to be triggered must be UTF-8.

The product trigger under the Dashboard is only for create operations. If a product update is desired, it should be done via CSV by selecting the 'Update Product Version Date in Bulk' section in the top-right of the channel settings, then choosing 'Update by Uploading File.
