Integrator Testing is a valuable tool designed to ensure the reliability of integration processes, troubleshoot, and maintain data integrity between brands' ERPs and our core product, Omnitron. This screen allows manual testing of specific scenarios, helping users verify the correct functioning of integrations and promptly rectify any erroneous or missing data.
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to use the Integrator Testing Screen and highlights the potential benefits it offers.
Facilitates Troubleshooting: The Integrator Testing Screen is instrumental in identifying and rectifying errors that may occur during integration processes. By performing single requests or multiple requests, users can ensure that their integrations are functioning correctly and quickly address any potential issues.
Performance Optimization: By making modified date requests and testing data retrieval and updates, the Integrator Testing Screen enables users to evaluate integration performance and optimize the process if needed.
Data Accuracy and Reliability: The CSV requests allow users to update multiple products simultaneously, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. The Integrator Testing Screen allows users to closely monitor batch update processes and ensure data accuracy.
Increased Efficiency: The Integrator Testing Screen is invaluable for advancing product or order-based test processes before going live. Users can manually create test scenarios, verify correct functionality, and streamline the project process.
Log in to the Integrator account and select the project. The project represents the integration between brands' ERPs and Omnitron.
Locate the Testing menu and select it to access the Testing Screen.
Upon entering the Testing Screen, a list of all the flows created will be seen. Each flow's name is accompanied by relevant trigger buttons.
This method is used to query whether there is an update for a specific data, such as a product number or an order number, on the opposite endpoint. Users can use this method to test on individual data and ensure that the integration is functioning as intended. The results of single requests can be observed in the Log screen.
Select the desired flow and click on the Run trigger button.
Input a product number or an order number to inquire about any updates related to the specific product number on the endpoint and click the Run button.
Click the Execution ID and track the results in the Log screen.
This method is used when multiple products need to be updated. Users can input multiple product numbers into a CSV file and upload it to Integrator to initiate batch update processes. This method is crucial for maintaining data integrity and accuracy, and the results can be tracked in the Log screen.
Click on the related flow name and find Download File Template from options and apply it.
Open the previously downloaded CSV template file and enter multiple product numbers.
Save the file and upload it by clicking the CSV icon on the screen.
Integrator automatically sends the request to the endpoint, and users can track the results in the Log screen by clicking the Execution ID.
This method is employed to test modified date data retrieval and update processes. Users can initiate modified date requests to retrieve and update data from a selected date to the present. This method is essential for evaluating integration performance and handling historical data accurately. The results of historical requests can be observed in the Log screen.
Click on the Run trigger button and select a specific date range.
Initiate a request to retrieve and update all data from the selected date to the present.
Observe the results in the Log screen and access the updated data.
The Integrator Testing Screen is a powerful tool for testing integration processes and maintaining data integrity. By following these steps, users can efficiently use the Integrator Testing function to ensure seamless integration and promptly address any issues that may arise.
