# How to Manage Slots and Retail Store Groups?

The **Slot & Retail Store Group** functionality in Omnitron allows users to configure and manage delivery hours for specific stores or groups based on defined time intervals and date ranges. By navigating through **Sales Channels > Store Management,** users can access a centralized interface to set up delivery schedules, assign quotas, and handle store group configurations efficiently.

This document provides an overview of the following key processes:

* Configuring delivery hours and managing quotas.
* Creating and managing passive date ranges for store groups.
* Grouping retail stores and assigning delivery slots.
* Handling slot closures for processing.

With these tools, users can tailor delivery schedules to meet operational requirements while ensuring a streamlined and organized approach to managing store delivery times.

## <mark style="color:red;">Store Delivery Times</mark> <a href="#store-delivery-times" id="store-delivery-times"></a>

The **Store Delivery Times** feature in Omnitron allows users to configure and manage specific delivery schedules for stores, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. By navigating to **Sales Channels > Store Management > Store Delivery Times**, users can define delivery hour intervals, set quotas, and manage availability for specific date ranges.

### <mark style="color:red;">Creating Store Delivery Times</mark> <a href="#creating-store-delivery-times" id="creating-store-delivery-times"></a>

In the **Add/Edit Delivery Hours** form, the **Start-End Time**, **Disable Time (minutes)**, and **Quota** fields are filled in, and records are created by clicking the (+) icon.

* **Start-End Time**: Represents the respective delivery hour intervals.
* **Disable Time (min.)**: Indicates the last time the interval will be displayed in the store. For example, if the end time is 12:00 and the disable time is set to 15 minutes, this interval will no longer be visible in the store after 11:45.
* **Quota**: Represents the maximum number of orders that can be accepted within the interval.

  <figure><img src="/files/0GYtxhXZgdXEE2HwBFBj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
Different **Disable Time** or **Quota** values can be entered for the same time interval. The **Start Time** value cannot exceed the **End Time** value.
{% endhint %}

### <mark style="color:red;">Selecting Store Delivery Hours for Date Ranges</mark> <a href="#selecting-store-delivery-hours-for-date-ranges" id="selecting-store-delivery-hours-for-date-ranges"></a>

In the **Add/Remove Passive Date** form, users can create date ranges by entering the **Start Date** and **End Date** fields, selecting **Assigned Store Group**, and clicking the **+ NEW SLOT** button.

* **Start-End Date**: Represents the desired specific date range.
  * Only one passive date can be created for an existing date range. For example, if a passive date already exists for **(02.03.2025 - 01.04.2025)**, a new passive date cannot be created for **(08.03.2025 - 07.06.2025)** because it overlaps with the existing range **(08.03.2025 - 01.04.2025)**.
* **Assigned Store Group:** Refers to the group of stores that the delivery hours configuration will apply to.<br>

  <figure><img src="/files/LOw7jBPvK2PE0lR8SEFg" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Created passive dates automatically include inactive time intervals configured via the **Add/Edit Delivery Hours** form.

Delivery hours can be added to the selected passive dates by clicking the **(+)** icon. Delivery hours activated for passive dates can be removed by clicking the **(-)** icon next to the relevant interval.

Delivery hours with overlapping time intervals cannot be selected together for the same passive date. For instance, delivery hours with the intervals **(08:00 - 12:00)** and **(09:00 - 13:00)** cannot be selected simultaneously for a passive date because they both overlap with the interval **(09:00 - 12:00)**.

Passive dates can be deactivated by clicking the **(-) Delete** button in the row displaying the respective date range.

## <mark style="color:red;">Retail Store Groups</mark> <a href="#retail-store-groups" id="retail-store-groups"></a>

The **Retail Store Groups** feature in Omnitron allows users to efficiently manage and organize groups of stores. By navigating to **Sales Channels > Store Management > Retail Store Groups**, users can view and filter store groups, access detailed information, and create or modify groups as needed.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Retail Store Groups** cardbox appears only when the selected sales channel type is web. In other words, for *shop-type* of sales channels, this cardboard appears.
{% endhint %}

The **Retail Store Groups List** displays the names, statuses, and slugs of retail store groups.

The list can be filtered based on the stores included in the groups. For example, if stores A, B, and C belong to store group X, selecting A, B, or C in the **Stores** filter will display group X.

Clicking on a store group in the list opens the **Retail Store Group Details** page.

### <mark style="color:red;">Creating Retail Store Group</mark> <a href="#creating-retail-store-group" id="creating-retail-store-group"></a>

In the **Retail Store Group** form, users can create or update store groups by filling in the fields and clicking **SAVE RETAIL STORE GROUP**.

* **Name**: Represents the name of the retail store group.
* **Status**: Represents the active/inactive status of the group.
* **Slug**: Represents the slug of the group.
* **All Stores:** Lists the available stores that can be added to the group.
* **Added Stores**: Displays the stores already added to the group. This section organizes the stores by their locations and includes options to remove stores.

{% hint style="info" %}
A store can belong to only one group.
{% endhint %}

## <mark style="color:red;">Assigning Delivery Hours (Slots) to Retail Store Groups</mark> <a href="#assigning-delivery-hours-slots-to-retail-store-groups" id="assigning-delivery-hours-slots-to-retail-store-groups"></a>

The **Assigning Delivery Hours (Slots) to Retail Store Groups** functionality in Omnitron enables users to assign specific delivery hours to designated store groups. By navigating to **Sales Channels > Store Management > Marketplace Slots** (Assign Slots to Groups), users can configure time intervals for various store groups based on passive date ranges.

<figure><img src="/files/LiyPrS04sUtM1AjgYYb9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

In the dropdown menu shown below, a Retail Store Group can be selected. After making a selection, time intervals can be configured for the selected Retail Store Group.

<figure><img src="/files/F8CGd82SRRUbP16MWK0B" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The **Selectable Slot** list displays available time intervals for the selected store group. The **Selected Slot** list displays the intervals already chosen.

Selectable Slot - Time Ranges can be added by clicking the **(+)** icon. Selected Slot - Time Ranges can be removed by clicking the **(-)** icon.

<figure><img src="/files/4gPE0bDaxunykZRtWw9j" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The lists of Selectable and Selected Time Ranges within the Add/Remove Passive Date form contain the active Delivery Hours specific to their respective records. For instance, in the screenshot above, only the time intervals (09:00 - 12:00, 12:00 - 22:00) are displayed for the Passive Date (28.12.2024 - 28.01.2025) since these delivery hours have been activated.

{% hint style="info" %}
Multiple time intervals can be selected for a Retail Store Group.
{% endhint %}

### <mark style="color:red;">Closing Store Delivery Hours (Slots) for Processing</mark> <a href="#closing-store-delivery-hours-slots-for-processing" id="closing-store-delivery-hours-slots-for-processing"></a>

User can close slots for processing from a specific date for store groups or all stores using the following methods:

* Create a retail store group for the stores whose slots will be closed.
* Define the date ranges for closed slots in the **Add/Remove Passive Date** form. Do not select any delivery hours for the defined passive date.
* Assign the stores to the created group.
* Navigate to **Marketplace Slots (Assign Slots to Groups)** and select the passive date for the store group without selecting delivery hours.

<figure><img src="/files/achpfp5JKN1UCEsUif89" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

As shown in the screenshot above, no delivery time has been selected within the Slot - Time Ranges for Retail Store Group 1. Consequently, slots for the stores belonging to Retail Store Group 1 will not appear on the shop page during the specified time ranges.

### <mark style="color:red;">Key Points</mark> <a href="#key-points" id="key-points"></a>

* Multiple slots can be selected for a single Retail Store Group. Additionally, the same slot can be assigned to multiple Retail Store Groups.
* Delivery Hours that are not assigned to any Retail Store Group on the Marketplace Slots (Assign Slots to Groups) page will be valid for all stores not assigned to any Retail Store Group during the relevant passive date range.
* A store listed under Added Stores on the Retail Store Group Details page cannot be displayed under the All Stores list of a different Retail Store Group, regardless of the active/passive status of the group to which it belongs.
* To disable slots for all stores, all Delivery Hours can be deleted from the Add/Edit Delivery Hours form on the Store Delivery Times page.
* Instead of individually removing a specific time interval from multiple inactive dates, the quota can be set to 0. In this way, the relevant time interval can be disabled for all inactive dates with a single change, avoiding the need for it to be removed one by one.
