Akinon Instore application enables brands without an OMS to manage Click and Collect orders for in-store pickup. Through the functions available in the Instore application, store employees can easily handle Click and Collect orders and their statuses. To manage in-store pickup Click and Collect orders using the Instore application, the Click and Collect feature needs to be activated on Omnitron.
To manage in-store pickup Click and Collect orders, the Instore application provides the Click & Collect Acceptance and Click & Collect Delivery buttons on the main screen. By clicking on these buttons, the corresponding screens will appear, allowing you to update the status of the in-store pickup Click and Collect orders as "Ready for Customer Pickup" or "Delivered."
When the Click & Collect Acceptance button is clicked, the Shop Order Acceptance screen is displayed, allowing the Instore user to accept a shipped order to their store for customer pickup. The status of the accepted order is changed from "Shipped" to "Ready for Customer Pickup". This updates the order status on the brand's main screens, such as Omnitron, and sends the information to the customer who will pick up the order, notifying them that their order is ready.
To initiate the order acceptance process in the Shop Order Acceptance screen, a valid order number needs to be entered in the "Order Number" field, and then the Search Order button should be clicked to search for the order. The order number can also be scanned by clicking on the barcode icon within the "Order Number" field, similar to scanning products in the search section. If an invalid order number is entered, the screen will display a "Order could not be found" message.
When a valid order number is entered in the "Order Number" field and the search is performed, the system transitions to the Order That Received screen where the acceptance process takes place. This screen consists of two sections: one displays the order contents, and the other shares information about the accepting store and personnel.
After verifying the information, the order can be accepted for delivery by clicking on the Received for Delivery button. This action confirms that the order has been accepted by the store for customer pickup, and its status is set to "Ready for Customer Delivery".
After the process is completed, the order's status is updated in Omnitron, and a message is sent to the customer who will pick up the order, indicating that their order is ready. To be able to accept and change the status of an order through the Instore application, the status of the order should be "Shipped" before the acceptance process.
When the Click & Collect Delivery button is clicked, the Shop Order Delivery screen is opened, which allows the customer to pick up a Click and Collect order from the store. By using the Shop Order Delivery screen, the status of an order that has been handed over to the customer can be updated from "Ready for Customer Pickup" to "Delivered".
To initiate the delivery process from the store in the Shop Order Delivery screen, a valid order number should be entered in the "Order Number" field, and then the Search Order button should be clicked for searching. The order number barcode can also be scanned by clicking on the barcode icon within the "Order Number" field, similar to the product search section. If an invalid order number is entered, the message "Order could not be found" will be displayed on the screen.
When a valid order number is entered in the "Order Number" field and searched, the transition is made to the Order That Delivered screen, where the delivery process is carried out from the store. This screen consists of two sections: one displaying the products included in the order, and the other sharing the store and personnel information responsible for the delivery.
Once the information displayed on the screen has been verified, the order can be delivered to the customer from the store by clicking the Received for Delivery button, and the order status is set to Delivered. After the process is completed, the order status is also updated on the brand's main screens in Omnitron. For a Click and Collect order to be delivered to the customer via the Instore application and for its status to be changed, the status must be "Ready for Customer Delivery" prior to the delivery process.
Once all these operations and status updates are performed for an order, the delivery process of the Click and Collect order from the store is completed. After these steps, the Click and Collect order is considered delivered, and the delivery process is considered finished.
