The ACC Monitoring enables the observation of resource consumption behaviors of applications tied to projects and allows monitoring of applications based on these behaviors for optimization. On this page, all applications related to projects on the respective account can be tracked according to specific metrics.
To access the Monitoring page, log in to the ACC application, follow the sidebar menu and click on the Monitoring tab. All users with Monitoring permissions in the associated role can access this page.
Upon the initial login to the page, the latest project created on the account where the application login is made, along with the data of an application (project app) linked to this project from the past hour, is displayed. To access the data of another application, the project and the application itself must be selected through the filters provided above.
On the right side of the project and application filters, users can select the time interval option to determine the time range for which the data will be displayed. Among the options are time intervals for the last 1, 3, 12 hours, and 1 day. Additionally, users have the flexibility to set a custom time interval according to their preferences.
The viewing options can be customized using the Settings icon located to the left of the time interval options. The Refresh option determines how often the data in the graphics on the page will be automatically refreshed. When the page is initially opened, the refresh interval comes as default turned off; if no time interval is selected, the data will not be updated automatically.
When a custom time interval is selected, the automatic refresh is not performed. In the Settings section, in addition to the refresh option, there is another option that determines the time interval for retrieving data. With the Change Period option, the period of the data displayed at intervals of 1, 10, 30 minutes, or 1 hour can be adjusted.
In accordance with the selections made for viewing application data, access to relevant graphs will be provided on the page.
Initially, the Application Pod Count graph for the chosen application is displayed. This graph illustrates the variation in the number of pods in which the selected application runs during the specified time interval. This graph also specifies the types of pods the application runs, and the changes in the number of pods for each pod type are displayed individually. Hovering over the points on the line graphs reveals tooltips, providing time information for each data point and displaying the pod counts for each pod type at the respective time.
Below the Application Pod Count graph, there is a list of pods in which the application runs. This list includes pod information, pod status, and CPU & Memory usage data for the listed pods.
By clicking on any pod in the pod list, users can access container-based CPU & Memory usage information for that specific pod. Below this list, container-based usage graphs for the pod at the top of the list, which is listed for the selected application, are opened by default.
For the CPU & Memory usage graphs of the selected pod, users can change the container information from the fields next to the graph's name. Tooltips on the graphs display date and time information and usage, request, and limit data for each data point at the respective time.
